Retro Brick is a device that brings back childhood memories, inspired by the simplicity of old radios.
With its straightforward designs, it allows people to relax and enjoy their memories, offering a sense of peace and nostalgia.
INSPIRASTION
Growing up, I didn't have a mobile phone. I remember receiving a game console as a gift and playing it nonstop until I completed every game.
As I got older and got a smartphone, I found myself easily distracted by the endless entertainment options, losing the peace of mind.
At Cornell Tech, I took a course on Interactive Devices, where I learned 3D modeling, printing, and designing interesting things with Raspberry Pi.
This inspired me to create a nostalgic game console that brings back childhood memories.
The Retro Brick brings back simpler times and celebrates the moments that have shaped us.
The large power button makes it easy to turn on and off, inspired by old radios.
SKETCH
The large power button makes it easy to turn on and off, inspired by old radios.
The screen fits a 3.5-inch display for Raspberry Pi. The small radius adds a smoother visual experience.
A thinner game console design makes it lighter to hold and easier to carry.
